A Morning's WhimYou tell me It's seven in the morningA Morning's Whim
Time to wake up, it's Time to wake up But you don't know if you can And you try anyways You try anyways You walk outside in your underwear Get the paper off the porch before you Climb back in bed
You tell me I can't go in to work today
I'll call in sick, and we can Pack up my car We'll head off anyway you like We'll go Far away from here, so Far away from here And we'll never look back again We'll never come back again
We'll leave the past behind We'll leave our liv

Hide and seekLet's play a game; you hide, I'll seek. We can spend an entire afternoon playing, Just looking and looking for one another. We can play until we're tired and sleepy. I'll just close my eye, I'll count to ten, Hopefully you will have hidden by then. Then I'll look for you until I find you, And it will be your turn to look for me. I'll find you, and it will be my turn to hide, And I'll find the best space of all.Hide and seek

Shoe by the ShoreOne night I dreamt Of a shoe beside the shore Empty and abandoned Alone in the windy night I crept closer.Shoe by the Shore
As I approach I see It's not just a shoe but a home Empty and alone In this windy summers night I try the knob
I find it unlocked
I step inside and light the fire Small and warm A house for only one For me
The wind picks up My shoe is lifted and carried Floating in the storm Away to Oz I surely am Or maybe not
The shoe drops With the sound of the splash I fall against the wall &n

Panhandling AddictI sat by the pond My coffee in hand Only one drop left In the bottom of my cupPanhandling Addict
Then I sat by the pond Box flap in hand A marker in the other I begin to produce a sign
Now I sit by the pond Empty cup in my hand A sign at my feet On which is written:
"Spare me some change For I have none of my own I've wasted my last penny Feeding an addiction"
